Australia

Landscapes of Australia. Tasmania, the Murray River in 2011 after the Queensland floods that brought life to the dying river and to the red plains of South Australia, western NSW and Brisbane. An Aboriginal elder told us that he hadn't seen the plains as green in 24 years. It didn't rain in the Outback, the water ran down all the way from Queensland. Eury - a talented French photographer - and I finished the journey through the Blue Mountains.

The café Schilling. The only decent joint in the Carrer Ferran. A real European café where you can read the paper, enjoy a dish, meet with friends or read a book.

Herboristeria Del Rei - Barcelona

Barcelona, next to the Plaza Del Rei, in a narrow street, you will find this medicinal Herbs shop established in 1818 and run by Joan Anton (the father), Trinitat (the Mum) and Marc. They give advice to customers on natural therapies and offer natural cosmetics. When I told Joan Anton that he didn't look as old to be there since 1818 he replied bursting in laughter "herbs help keep you young".

Libreria S. Jordi

Barcelona is BCN (the airport sign). This is how locals call it. BCN or Barsa (and the local football team is also Barsa). This bookshop - la libreria Sant Jordi - is located Carrer Ferran, 41. Founded in 1928 it is managed by Jose Morales and his son. Snr José Morales is an "aficionado" photographer. He was a bit reluctant to let himself pictured but he accepted when I told him that if an amateur photographer do not want to be pictured, then who would? So he pulled his camera and took a shot pointing at me.
