Landscapes of Australia.

Tasmania, the Murray River (SA)  in 2011 after the Queensland floods that brought life to the dying river and to the red plains of South Australia and western NSW.

An Aboriginal elder told us that he hadn't seen the plains as green in 24 years. It didn't rain in the Outback, the water ran down all the way from Queensland.

I did this trip with Eury – a talented French photographer. In our daily planning we would double the time it normally takes to do a leg. We would stop and jump out of the van to take pictures. Anyone else travelling with us would have tuned crazy.

We finished the journey through the Blue Mountains west of Sydney.
